Grow self-compassion alongside your kids… and with a community of other parents and caregivers.

When my kids were little, afternoons were the hardest part of the day. One child would melt down after school… the other would shut down. Same family, but two very different ways of having big feelings.

Back then I didn’t know what I know now: that my loving presence mattered more than “fixing,” that it wasn’t my fault (or theirs), and that there were playful ways to help kids feel less alone with those stormy feelings inside.

That’s why I created this offering—drawing on tools I’ve tested with families and classrooms—so you and your kids don’t have to walk this path alone.

What You’ll Get:

In this mini-course you’ll learn:

✨ How to help your child feel less alone in their emotions (whether they melt down or shut down)

✨ A playful way to help your child get unstuck from overwhelming feelings, while noticing the good, too

✨ Simple self-compassion tools that help your child (and you!) respond to big feelings with kindness and learn how to take helpful action

Here’s how it works:

• Bite-sized videos you can watch anytime.

• Colorful, ready-to-use workbook resources you and your child can use together.

• Bonus: Downloadable lesson plans for teachers and group facilitators, so these tools can ripple into classrooms and groups too.

Why It Matters

These aren’t quick fixes (because parenting never is)… but with practice, these tools can help kids know that their feelings are manageable, not shameful. And you’ll feel more calm and connected in the hard moments. This means fewer battles, more ease in your home (or classroom), and the reassurance that you’re giving your kids something you may not have been taught yourself — the gift of resilience and compassion for life.

Mini-Course Outline

Session 1: Help your child know they’re not alone in their big emotions (whether they melt down or shut down). You’ll learn ways to stay present and connected, even when feelings feel overwhelming.

Session 2: Discover playful tools that help kids move through tough emotions while noticing what’s good, too. These practices give you and your child shared strategies for growing compassion and joy.

Session 3: Explore how to balance acceptance (‘I’m lovable as I am’) with growth (‘I can take kind action’). Both are forms of compassion — and both help kids thrive.
